Wildlife Week

Poster Contest

Each year, the Nebraska Wildlife Federation sponsors a Grade School Wildlife Poster Contest. The contest is designed to encourage budding wildlife artists from around the state to show us their best work! We receive hundreds of posters each year, and honor the best posters each Spring. Categories are 6th grade, 5th grade, and 4th grade and below.

The 2011 Nebraska Wildlife Week theme was:

"Wildlife Moves Me To..."

Our theme is intended to inspire student artists to show us what actions they are inspired to take by the wildlife they love -- whether in their backyard, their schoolyard, their community or the state capitol. This year, we also encourage student artists to give us a 'tweet', by including a tweet-sized (140 characters or less) statement that tells us what they are inspired to do for the wildlife they love.

Visit our past Wildlife Week pages (at left) to see some of the winning posters from past years.
