GRAPH A PICTURE
Materials: One fourth inch graphing paper for each student, and a copy of this work sheet.
Directions: Make a 0 in the lower left hand corner. Starting at the 0 and moving vertically, number your graph paper lines from 0 to 35, placing each number on the line. Then mark 0 to 35 going left to right along the x axis (bottom).
Look at each ordered pair, starting with the first column. find the point on the graph and place a dot. Connect the dots as you go, using a ruler.
When using an ordered pair to locate a point on the graph, the first number indicates the number of units to the right, and the second number is the number of units up.
