Wildlife Week
Each spring, in conjunction with the National Wildlife Federation’s celebration of National Wildlife Week, we sponsor Wildlife Week Nebraska. The celebration of Wildlife Week in Nebraska dates back to the 1970’s, and is Nebraska Wildlife Federation’s oldest wildlife education program.
Each year, the Federation helps teachers understand and educate their students about Nebraska wildlife. Our Wildlife Week Poster Contest recognizes budding 4th, 5th, and 6th grade wildlife artists from schools across Nebraska. Winning artists are honored each spring at the annual Wildlife Poster Contest ceremony.
